Royal Canin Veterinary Cardiac is a scrumptious, nutritionally complete dog food designed to increase support for the heart in dogs. Low in sodium and with an enhanced K/Na ratio, Royal Canin’s Cardiac recipe is ideally suited for dogs with afflicted with hypertension, heart disease or heart failure from the first to the last stage or a chronic cardiac insufficiency of any kind.
Created with a bespoke blend of nutrients for to promote vascular health, Veterinary Cardiac contains carefully controlled levels of potassium and magnesium to improve the electrolyte balance of dogs with heart troubles. To boot, Royal Canin’s exclusive formula contains reduced phosphorus to sustain optimal renal function.
We recommend that you speak to a veterinarian before beginning this diet. Please do not feed Royal Canin Veterinary Cardiac to pregnant or lactating dogs, puppies, or dogs with hyperlipidaemia or a history of pancreatitis.
