SPECIFIC FRD Weight Reduction Adult Cat Food is a dry food that's been specifically formulated to help cats lose weight. A diet low in fat and calories, but high in fibre and protein. This means you can feed your cat a large tasty amount of food, to satisfy their appetite, while still helping them to lose weight.

  • Allows your cat to lose weight without feeling hungry. Low in calories and fat and high in fibre and protein – allowing you to feed your cat full portions.
  • High in protein to maintain muscle mass. This increases weight loss as the loss then comes from fat rather than lean body mass.
  • Contains added L carnitine – a fat burning amino acid.
  • High levels of Omega 3 fish oils to help maintain healthy coat skin and joints.
  • With starch for a slow glucose release and high level of fibres to slow down the release of glucose this diet is suitable for cats with diabetes.
  • The high fibre content makes this diet suitable for cats with constipation.


    Ingredients

    Maize protein, cellulose powder, fish meal, dried peas, wheat, oats, minerals (including tripotassium citrate), potato protein, animal protein hydrolysate, pork fat, maize, vitamins and trace elements (including chelated trace elements), methionine, ammonium chloride, fish oil, taurine, L-carnitine. With natural antioxidants (tocopherols, rosemary extract and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.

    Specific FRD Weight Reduction

    I have been giving my 12 year old very greedy cat, this product over the last year to reduce his weight as he had developed diabetes. Gradually but surely his weight has reduced enough that the vet said he may not have to have his insulin injections if this weight loss continues. Apparently cats are the only animal that can fight off diabetes themselves. So hopefully my little beauty will have done enough with the help of “Specific FRD Weight Reduction Dry Cat Food”, to be able to be a normal healthy although a thankfully much slimmer cat. I hope this review is helpful to people and their cats in the same position.

    Frozen Delivery

    Natures Menu frozen raw pet food will be delivered by our trusted supply partner separately to any other items in your order in order. We therefore have to add a Frozen Delivery charge (£5.95) to keep it frozen all the way to your door.

    Frozen raw food will not be available for collection. You will receive a separate email from Nature's Menu confirming delivery details within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of placing your order. All frozen food orders will need to be signed for so that we can ensure they stay perfectly frozen.

    Due to the nature of this product, it is currently not available for delivery to a small selection of mainland postcodes, or off-shore locations (for example, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland).
