A dietary supplement in tablet form that contains Glucosamine hydrochloride (HCL) for animals with joint problems.
Dorwest has chosen this type of glucosamine as it is more concentrated and contains a lot less sodium than other forms of glucosamine and is more efficiently absorbed by dogs. The three main benefits of this tablet are that it enhances the body’s ability to manufacture collagen and proteoglycans, essential for rebuilding joint cartilage and increasing synovial fluid to lubricate the joints.
Chondroitin works synergistically with glucosamine to provide support and increase mobility. Healthy animals produce sufficient glucosamine to keep their cartilage healthy, but in older animals where wear and tear is causing signs of degeneration, or following injury or damage they often require a little more to keep their joints mobile.
Dorwest have chosen not to add other additional elements into this tablet but to simply produce a quality supplement of high grade Glucosamine and marine based Chondroitin, both from sustainable sources. This supplement complements Dorwest Garlic & Fenugreek Tablets and Mixed Vegetable Tablets, which are used to treat conditions caused by deterioration in the joints, and can be given in conjunction with them.
Glucosamine HCL 400mg; Chondroitin Sulphate 200mg (marine source).
